About Journals... I began scribbling in my first diary at age eleven or twelve. Diaries and journals have always been a way for me to exorcise my demons and insecurities, to roll ideas around in my head then throw them against a wall to see if they stick. In 2000, I began my first online blog at LiveJournal. The early years were great, I had nothing to hide and completely fell in love with the experience of "sharing life". But as any service grows, bullshit grows with it. These days much of my LiveJournal is viewable to "Friends Only", not because I am worryed about it coming back to bite me in the ass but simply because I am not interested in the drama. Drama is boring, annoying and not constructive in the least - I will not feed the drama machine. My disenchantment with LiveJournal and my desire to post more openly again, inspired the creation of my own blog proper earlier this year. I still write in LiveJournal, but if you read both, you'll quickly learn the difference between the two. StrangeBlog is my home, LiveJournal is my community. I have left the links to the Paper Journals in the right hand column of this page. Paper Journals are exactly what they sound like, things I've scribbled in notebooks over the years, less polished, more personal. Only recommended for the die hards, as once they're transcribed I'm sure they will be 80% the brainjuice of a teenage girl. =) Now onto the Blogs!
